Fildena can cause headaches. Fildena contains sildenafil, a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction. Headache is a common side effect of sildenafil. Why does it cause headaches? Sildenafil widens blood vessels, increasing blood flow. This can also affect blood vessels in the head and trigger a headache. Other common side effects include: Facial flushing or warmth Stuffy nose Dizziness or lightheadedness FILDENA Temporary changes in vision What can you do about the headache? Drink water and rest. Avoid alcohol, which can worsen dizziness and headaches. Don't take another dose until you've discussed recurrent or troublesome headaches with a doctor or pharmacist.
