Vriligy 60 mg (dapoxetine) is a prescription medicine used to treat premature ejaculation in adult men. Being young does not automatically make it safe to use, and 60 mg is not recommended as a starting dose. When should younger people avoid Vriligy 60 mg? You should avoid taking it, or consult a doctor before use, in these situations: Under 18 years old: It is not intended for children or adolescents. First-time use: Do not start with 60 mg. The usual starting dose for eligible adults is 30 mg, and 60 mg should only be considered by a doctor if Vriligy 60mg and tolerated. Heart problems: Avoid it if you have certain heart conditions, abnormal heart rhythms, or a history of heart failure. History of fainting or low blood pressure: Dapoxetine can cause dizziness, a sudden blood pressure drop, or fainting. Liver problems: It is contraindicated in moderate or severe liver impairment. Taking antidepressants or interacting medicines: Avoid combining it with other SSRIs, SNRIs, MAO inhibitors, or certain other medicines without medical advice. Alcohol consumption: Avoid alcohol because it can increase dizziness and the risk of fainting or injury. Dehydration or overheating: Be cautious if you are dehydrated, have a fever, or are in a situation where fainting could be dangerous. Other reasons to avoid it include a history of bipolar disorder or mania, seizures, or significant kidney problems that require medical assessment. These conditions can affect whether dapoxetine is safe for you.
