Vilitra 20 contains vardenafil 20 mg, a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction. It can interact with several other medicines and may cause serious side effects. Nitrates: Nitroglycerin, isosorbide mononitrate and isosorbide dinitrate must not be combined with Vilitra because they can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Heart and blood pressure medicines: Amlodipine, metoprolol, losartan and alpha-blockers may increase the risk of dizziness or low blood pressure. Antibiotics: Clarithromycin and erythromycin Vilitra 20 mg increase vardenafil levels. Antifungals: Ketoconazole and itraconazole can increase the risk of side effects. HIV medicines: Ritonavir and certain other antiviral medicines may significantly increase vardenafil levels. Other erectile dysfunction medicines: Sildenafil, tadalafil and similar drugs should not be combined with Vilitra. Avoid excessive alcohol, and consult your doctor before taking Vilitra if you have heart disease or low blood pressure. Never stop prescribed medicines on your own. Seek emergency medical care for chest pain, fainting, sudden vision or hearing loss, or an erection lasting four hours or longer. Always inform your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines and supplements you take before using Vilitra 20.
