I’d been thinking about moving into fraud because I already had experience with payments and chargebacks, but I wasn’t sure which positions were realistic for me. Most of the general job boards were giving me a mix of everything, so finding proper fraud vacancies was taking way too much time. I checked SpinHire and started looking through the roles there, mainly by country and language, since relocation wasn’t an option for me.

One position turned out to be pretty close to what I was already doing, although the title was a bit different. I sent my CV, got a reply from the recruiter and had a couple of calls with the company. They asked quite a lot about my previous work with suspicious transactions and payment issues, which was actually relevant to the role. In the end I got an offer and decided to give it a try. So far, the job is going well and the move into fraud feels pretty natural.
