Vidalista 40 mg, if it contains tadalafil, generally does not need to be taken with food. Tadalafil can usually be taken with or without meals, so you can take it before or after eating. Unlike some medicines for erectile dysfunction, food generally does not significantly affect how tadalafil works. However, a very heavy meal may make you feel uncomfortable when taking the medicine.
For erectile dysfunction, tadalafil is commonly taken before anticipated sexual activity, and sexual stimulation is still necessary for it to work. Tadalafil can have effects for up to 36 hours, so it should not be taken more than once in a 24-hour period unless your healthcare professional has given you different instructions.
One important point is that 40 mg is higher than the usual approved on-demand dose for erectile dysfunction. Do not take Vidalista 40 mg simply because a lower dose did not seem effective without discussing the dose with a doctor. Tadalafil must not be taken with nitrate medicines such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide, or with recreational “poppers,” because the combination can cause a potentially dangerous drop in blood pressure.
