Filitra 10 mg (vardenafil) can be used over the long term for erectile dysfunction when it is medically appropriate and tolerated. However, the standard labeling describes vardenafil as an as-needed medicine, generally up to once daily, rather than a medication that must be taken every day indefinitely. D DailyMed +1 For longer-term use: 10 mg is the usual starting dose; it can be reduced to 5 mg or increased to 20 mg FILITRA 10 MG on effectiveness and side effects. D DailyMed It should not be used with nitrate medicines such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide, or with riociguat. D DailyMed If you have significant heart disease, vardenafil may be inappropriate if sexual activity itself is considered unsafe. D DailyMed An erection lasting more than 4 hours requires immediate medical attention. D DailyMed Regular use is worth discussing with a doctor, particularly if ED is persistent, because ED can sometimes be associated with underlying cardiovascular or metabolic conditions.
