Zhewitra 40 mg, “intermittent use” generally means taking it only when needed for sexual activity rather than every day. Zhewitra 40 mg contains vardenafil. The manufacturer describes Zhewitra as a prescription medicine and advises not exceeding one tablet daily without medical advice. However, there is an important safety point: 40 mg is above the usual maximum recommended vardenafil dose of 20 mg in current prescribing information. Standard vardenafil dosing is 5–20 mg taken as Zhewitra 40 mg , approximately 60 minutes before sexual activity, with a maximum frequency of once per day. Therefore, Zhewitra 40 mg should not be used intermittently on your own simply because it is not taken daily. A doctor should determine whether that strength is appropriate. Also, vardenafil must not be combined with nitrate medicines because of the risk of a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
