Fildena 25 mg itself is not an FDA-approved U.S. brand/product. The FDA does approve sildenafil for erectile dysfunction, including 25 mg tablets, but approval of the active ingredient does not mean that every sildenafil-branded product is FDA-approved. For example, FDA records show approved sildenafil 25 mg products from specific manufacturers, while Fildena is a separate brand. The FDA has also previously issued a warning letter concerning manufacturing practices at Centurion Laboratories, although that letter concerned the Fildena 25 mg manufacturing compliance rather than establishing that Fildena 25 mg is FDA-approved. In short: Sildenafil 25 mg: FDA-approved as a drug strength for ED. Fildena 25 mg: Not established as an FDA-approved U.S. product. FDA approval should be checked by the exact product/manufacturer and application, not just by the active ingredient. If you're writing an article, a safe wording is: “Fildena 25 mg is not an FDA-approved U.S. brand, although sildenafil citrate, its active ingredient, is FDA-approved for erectile dysfunction.”
