I’ve been paying more attention lately to how different clothing colors look depending on someone’s skin tone. Some shades that look great on one person can look completely different on another, especially with darker skin tones.

I’m curious how other women approach this when shopping for clothes. Do you usually stick with certain colors that you already know work well, or do you like experimenting with brighter shades, neutrals, and different patterns?

I’ve also noticed more options described as Women’s Melanin Apparel, which seems to focus more intentionally on styles and colors that complement and celebrate deeper skin tones. I’m interested in hearing what colors or styles people have found especially flattering and whether you consider skin tone when choosing everyday outfits.
