I’ve been exploring social bookmarking as a way to get more visibility for blog content, and I’m curious about how useful it still is for referral traffic.
I recently tried submitting content to a few top social bookmarking website platforms, and I noticed that the results can be quite different depending on the platform and the type of content being shared. Some sites seem to have more active users, while others mainly work as content discovery platforms.
From your experience, can social bookmarking actually bring consistent visitors to a blog, or is it better to look at it as one small part of a wider traffic strategy?
I’d also like to know which social bookmarking platforms people are currently using and what kind of results they have seen from them.
