Fildena (sildenafil) for erectile dysfunction, it is generally a prescription medicine, and a doctor should determine whether it is appropriate for you. For ED, the usual sildenafil starting dose is 50 mg taken about 1 hour before sexual activity, with adjustment to 25–100 mg depending on effectiveness and side effects. It should generally be taken no more than once per day. D DailyMed Important safety points Do not take sildenafil with nitrate medicines such as FILDENA or isosorbide; the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. D DailyMed +1 Tell your doctor if you have significant heart disease, low blood pressure, liver/kidney problems, or take blood-pressure or alpha-blocker medicines. Seek emergency care for an erection lasting more than 4 hours, or sudden loss of vision/hearing. D DailyMed If you tell me your age, the Fildena strength (25/50/100 mg), any medicines you take, and whether you have heart/BP problems, I can explain what a doctor would typically consider before recommending it.
