UGC NET Political Science Preparation Guide
A clear understanding of the syllabus is the first step toward organised UGC NET Political Science preparation. Paper 2 covers a wide range of topics, including Political Theory, Political Thought, Indian Political Thought, Comparative Politics, International Relations, India’s Foreign Policy, Indian Political Institutions, Political Processes, Public Administration, and Governance.
Students should first review the complete UGC NET Political Science Syllabus and divide the topics into manageable study sessions. This makes it easier to plan notes, revision, previous-year questions, and mock-test practice.
Instead of trying to memorise everything at once, focus on understanding important concepts and thinkers. After completing each topic, practise relevant questions and note down mistakes for later revision.
A systematic approach combining the syllabus, conceptual study, PYQs, practice tests, and repeated revision can make UGC NET Political Science preparation more structured and manageable.
