Malegra 25 mg (sildenafil 25 mg) can affect the liver, but clinically significant liver injury appears to be very rare. Sildenafil is processed mainly by the liver, and reported cases of drug-induced liver injury are uncommon. A few important points: If your liver is healthy: occasional sildenafil use is generally not considered a significant liver risk. If you have liver disease/cirrhosis: sildenafil can remain in your body longer and reach higher concentrations. Official prescribing information recommends starting at 25 mg in Malegra 25 mg with hepatic impairment. Rarely, sildenafil has been associated with hepatitis/liver injury, sometimes with jaundice. Seek medical attention if you develop yellow eyes/skin, unusually dark urine, severe itching, persistent nausea, or significant abdominal pain after taking it. If you already have fatty liver, hepatitis, elevated SGPT/ALT, cirrhosis, or abnormal liver tests, tell me your latest ALT/SGPT, AST/SGOT and bilirubin values and I can explain whether Malegra 25 mg is likely to be a concern.
