Vidalista 40 mg is marketed as a tadalafil product, but tadalafil dosing is not universal because the appropriate dose depends on the individual’s health, treatment needs, response, and risk of side effects. Tadalafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED).

For as-needed treatment of ED, official prescribing information recommends 10 mg as the usual starting dose, with adjustment to 5 mg or 20 mg depending on effectiveness and tolerability. The maximum recommended frequency is once daily. Standard tadalafil tablets are available in strengths of 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg. Therefore, a VIDALISTA 40 MG dose is above the recommended maximum for ED.

Individual factors can further affect dosing. Men with kidney or liver impairment may need lower doses or additional precautions. Other medicines, including nitrates, alpha-blockers, and certain drugs that affect tadalafil metabolism, can also influence safety and dosing decisions.

A higher dose does not necessarily produce a better erection and may increase the likelihood of adverse effects such as headache, indigestion, flushing, back pain, dizziness, and low blood pressure.

Tadalafil must not be combined with nitrate medicines, because this can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. It should also not be combined with other ED medicines without medical advice.

If Vidalista 40 mg has been recommended or you are considering it, discuss the exact strength with a qualified healthcare professional rather than adjusting the dose yourself.
