For surgeons planning to pursue a super-speciality, how would you compare MCh vs DrNB?

I have been researching MCh vs DrNB and noticed that the decision is not always straightforward. MCh is traditionally associated with medical universities and teaching institutions, while DrNB training can be available through accredited hospitals and institutions.

My main concern is the actual quality of surgical training. Does one pathway generally provide better exposure to major procedures, emergency cases, operative workload, and independent decision-making?

I am also wondering how much importance employers give to MCh versus DrNB when hiring super-speciality surgeons. If two candidates have similar experience but one has MCh and the other has DrNB, does the qualification itself influence recruitment?

Another factor I am considering is academic career progression. I would like to keep both hospital practice and teaching as possible career options, so I want to understand whether there are any meaningful differences in this area.

For doctors who have completed MCh or DrNB, which factors influenced your decision? Was the institute, case volume, faculty, or qualification more important in your experience?

Any practical advice would be helpful.
