So a bunch of people in this sub have been asking about suede jacket men lately, and I spent way too much time going through FitJackets' entire men's suede collection, so I figured I'd write up a proper post covering everything I found — styles, material quality, what stood out, and some general thoughts on suede if you're new to it.
Overview of the Collection
They've got 52 jackets total in this category, spread across 3 pages. It's a pretty broad mix — everything from classic plain suede jackets to a huge number of celebrity and TV/movie-inspired pieces. I wasn't expecting that many pop-culture tie-ins honestly. You've got:
The Gentlemen S02 (Guy Ritchie) brown suede bomber Tom Holland's Spider-Man: Far From Home suede leather jacket John Dutton 2026 suede jacket (Yellowstone-style) Justin Hartley's Tracker S03 black suede jacket Paul Wesley's Star Trek: Strange New Worlds suede leather jacket Aaron Taylor-Johnson's "Fuze" brown suede jacket Theo James's "Fuze" suede leather jacket Christian Siriano's Project Runway 2026 brown suede jacket
And a bunch more in that same vein — basically if there's a show or movie with a memorable jacket, there's a good chance FitJackets has made a version of it.
About Suede as a Material (for anyone unfamiliar)
Since a few people asked what actually makes suede different from regular leather jackets — suede isn't a separate animal hide, it's made from the underside (flesh side) of the hide rather than the tougher outer/grain side. That's why it has that soft, velvety, matte texture instead of the smooth sheen you get on regular leather. It's lighter, more breathable, and honestly feels nicer against the skin, but it's also more delicate — you have to be more careful with water, stains, and general wear compared to a standard leather jacket. FitJackets' product page claims they use lambskin suede for these, which if accurate is a decent quality choice — lambskin tends to be softer and more supple than heavier hides like cowhide.
Worth noting: it's not weather-proof the way regular leather is, so if you're buying this as a daily driver in a rainy climate, that's something to think about.
What Stood Out to Me
Honestly the John Dutton-style jacket and the Tracker (Justin Hartley) one caught my eye the most — both have that rugged, muted-tone look that works well as a genuinely wearable everyday jacket rather than just a costume piece. A lot of the other celebrity-inspired ones lean more "cosplay/fan merch" than "something I'd wear to work," which isn't a knock, just worth knowing going in depending on what you're after.
The Gentlemen bomber also looked solid from the photos — suede bombers with ribbed cuffs and an elastic hem tend to have a bit more everyday versatility than the longer blazer-cut suede jackets.
Sizing & Ordering Notes
Same as their other jackets I've looked at — they've got a standard size chart (chest, shoulder, sleeve length) and also offer a custom size option if you don't fit the standard range. They also do 30-day returns/exchanges, which takes some of the risk out of buying suede online without touching the material first.
My Overall Take
If you're after a specific look — like a Yellowstone-style jacket or something inspired by a show you're into — this collection has a surprising amount of variety for that. If you just want a classic, no-frills suede jacket without the celebrity branding, you'll have to scroll a bit since a lot of the front-page listings are themed pieces. As always with online leather/suede shopping, I'd lean on their size chart carefully and maybe email support if you're between sizes.
Curious if anyone here has actually ordered from this specific collection — would love to hear how the suede quality holds up in person compared to the photos.
