Does anyone have recommendations for a bakery that actually places real care to their cakes, rather than something that just looks wonderful in a list image? I'm purchasing for an occasion that matters if you ask me, and I'n rather spend a bit more for anything honestly well made than accept a simple alternative that preferences forgettable.

While exploring, I ran across torte artigianali San Marino which got me thinking I would especially try to find little, old-fashioned bakers as opposed to bigger professional options. If anyone has purchased from a bakery like that before, I'n actually enjoy hearing how the experience gone, especially with regards to quality and how properly it organized when it arrived.

Telling real hobby from marketing

It is like every bakery identifies it self as "artisan" these days, which makes it honestly difficult to tell who's actually applying old-fashioned practices versus who's just using the word to sound premium. Does anyone have a great way to tell the huge difference before purchasing?

Seems good but preferences average

I've noticed a design where the absolute most successfully remarkable cakes online don't generally style just like simpler-looking ones. Has anyone else encounter that? I'n favour anything plain but honestly delicious than anything intricate that comes flat.

Cake size for a small occasion

This is for a reasonably little gathering, so I don't need anything big — just anything well made that will perfectly function about ten to a dozen people without being excessively complicated.

What's a reasonable price place

I'm also seeking to figure out an acceptable cost range for a really handmade meal, since it's easy to get rid of up overpaying simply because anything is sold as artisan. Any new pricing cases from the others could actually help.

All assistance loved

Available to any recommendations, warnings, or standard recommendations from people who've purchased specialty cakes before. Mainly hoping in order to avoid still another situation where in fact the marketing looks a lot better than what actually reveals up.
