A systematic approach is usually better than changing several settings at once. Start by checking your FamilySearch login
credentials and internet connection. Next, determine whether your FamilySearch account works independently. If it does, check your Family Tree Maker version and relevant account connection settings. Record any error message you receive because it may provide useful information about the problem. Before making major changes to your FTM project, create a backup. This gives you additional protection if troubleshooting involves changing software settings or reconnecting your genealogy account.
