Karanja trees can typically be propagated either by seed or young plants. They like warm temperatures and will grow on a variety of soils but with good drainage to encourage good growth. Seed is typically sown into appropriate soil and is properly moistened in its initial stages of growth. As established, Karanja is relatively drought-resistant when compared to many plants. Regularly watered and weeded young trees are more likely to thrive. For large-scale planting, planting material should be chosen to be healthy, and local climate and soil conditions should be taken into account.
