Vidalista 10 mg (tadalafil) does not directly increase nitric oxide (NO) production. Instead, it enhances the effects of nitric oxide that is already being released during sexual stimulation. Here is how it works: During sexual arousal, nerves in the penis release nitric oxide (NO). NO activates an enzyme called guanylate cyclase, which increases levels of cGMP (cyclic guanosine monophosphate). cGMP relaxes smooth muscle in the penile Vidalista 10 Mg vessels, allowing more blood to flow in and helping produce an erection. An enzyme called PDE-5 normally breaks down cGMP. Tadalafil blocks PDE-5, so cGMP lasts longer, which prolongs and strengthens the blood-vessel relaxation caused by nitric oxide. Because tadalafil depends on the body’s natural arousal pathway, it does not usually cause an erection without sexual stimulation. Important: The effect can be stronger or riskier when combined with nitrates (such as nitroglycerin for chest pain) or some other medicines, because blood pressure can drop dangerously.
