Vriligy 60 mg (dapoxetine) is sometimes used recreationally, but it is not intended or recommended for recreational use. Some men without a diagnosis of premature ejaculation (PE) take it hoping to: Last longer during sex. Reduce performance anxiety. Combine it with erectile dysfunction medications such as sildenafil or tadalafil. However, this is off-label use, and the medicine is only approved for men with diagnosed premature ejaculation. Regulatory guidance specifically states that dapoxetine should not be used simply to delay ejaculation in men who do not have PE. Using Vriligy recreationally has several downsides: It may cause nausea, dizziness, headache, Vriligy 60mg and fatigue. The 60 mg dose has a higher risk of side effects than the 30 mg dose. It can increase the risk of fainting (syncope) and low blood pressure, especially when combined with alcohol. It should not be mixed with recreational drugs such as MDMA (ecstasy), ketamine, tramadol, or other serotonergic substances, as this may increase the risk of serotonin syndrome, a potentially serious condition. Although online forums mention people using dapoxetine recreationally or alongside erectile dysfunction medications, these are personal experiences and should not be considered evidence of safety or effectiveness.
