Royal Challengers Bengaluru produced a championship-quality display in the IPL 2026 Final, restricting Gujarat Titans and putting themselves in a commanding position.
The Titans appeared comfortable early on as Gill and Sudharsan found boundaries. However, RCB quickly turned the tide. Hazlewood removed Gill, while Bhuvneshwar's experience helped send Sudharsan back shortly afterward.
The dismissals created scoreboard pressure, and Gujarat struggled to recover. RCB's bowlers attacked with disciplined short-pitched deliveries and clever variations. Nishant Sindhu's promising knock ended prematurely, while Jos Buttler failed to make the impact many expected.
