Ceramic Raschig ring is the earliest generation of random packing with excellent acid resistance and heat resistance. They can resist to corrosion of various inorganic acids, organic acids and organic solvents except hydrofluoric acid, and can be used in high or low temperature conditions. The height is equal to the diameter. And the normal specifications are 25mm to 76mm. Though the mass transfer of ceramic raschig ring is low, it is much cheaper than other random packing, so it is still widely accepted.
