A smart ARC Raiders loot run usually begins with a boring decision: don't head straight for the loudest part of the map. That doesn't mean you're scared. It means you're trying to leave with something worth keeping, whether that's meds, ammo, parts, or ARC Raiders BluePrints found along a quieter route. Most players know the trap. You've got a decent bag, extract isn't far, and then one more crate starts looking too tempting. Five minutes later, you're back in the menu wondering why you didn't just leave.
Start With The Exit, Not The Loot The first thing I'd check after spawning is the nearest extraction, then the second-nearest one. Sounds dull, but it saves runs. Once you know where you can leave, build your path around the edge of the map instead of cutting through the obvious traffic lanes. Outer service buildings, small depots, repair sheds, and fenced storage lots often give you enough value without dragging you into a three-squad mess. You won't always find the flashiest container, but you'll keep stacking useful stuff. That matters more than one lucky raid followed by three failed ones.
Quiet Buildings Still Pay Industrial spots are great if you treat them like quick stops, not homes. Grab wires, batteries, mechanical parts, toolboxes, and weapon bits, then move. Big warehouses can trick you into feeling safe because there's cover everywhere. They're also full of corners, metal footsteps, and ugly close-range fights. Roadside buildings are even better for low-pressure farming. People run past them all the time because they're chasing bigger landmarks. Check shelves, medical boxes, lockers, and back rooms. If shots kick off nearby, those same buildings can give you a pause point while the loud players pull attention away from you.
Move Like Someone Is Listening Sound gets people killed more than bad aim does. You don't need to crouch across the whole map, but sprinting through every room is asking for trouble. Walk indoors. Stop for a second before opening into courtyards. If you hear a fight, don't instantly join it just because your gun is loaded. Let other players show where they are first. A simple kit helps here: a rifle or SMG you trust, light armour, a couple of heals, and enough bag space to make the trip worthwhile. If your loadout feels too expensive, you'll start making weird choices to justify bringing it.
Leave While The Run Still Feels Good The best low-risk habit is leaving before the raid turns messy. Early extraction with a half-full bag is often better than waiting until everyone's nervous, wounded, and camping routes out.
