I’ve recently been looking into options for getting rid of a damaged vehicle after an accident, and I keep coming across the term Accidental Car Removal. From what I understand, it’s a service where companies tow away accident-damaged or non-drivable cars and often offer cash based on the vehicle’s condition.

One company that frequently appears in my search is ACT Cash for Car. They seem to handle accident vehicles, scrap cars, and unwanted cars, and claim to offer same-day pickup in some cases.

I’m curious if anyone here has actually used an accidental car removal service before—especially with ACT Cash for Car or similar companies. How smooth was the process? Did you feel the valuation was fair? And were there any hidden fees for towing or paperwork?

Also wondering how it compares to private selling a damaged car versus just going through a removal service. Any real experiences or advice would be appreciated.
