I’ve been wondering lately if using a Web3 ad network actually makes a difference when it comes to token sale participation. A few months ago, a friend and I were helping with a small crypto project, and one of the biggest problems wasn’t building the token or setting up the sale. It was simply getting real people to notice it.


At first, we thought social media alone would be enough. We posted updates, joined crypto groups, and even tried sharing threads in communities where people usually discuss new projects. The issue was that everything started feeling crowded. Every project looked the same, and most posts disappeared within hours.


The Main Problem We Ran Into


The hardest part honestly wasn’t traffic. We could get clicks here and there. The real challenge was finding people who were actually interested in Web3 projects instead of random visitors who leave after two seconds.


We also noticed that normal ad platforms didn’t always work well for crypto campaigns. Some rejected crypto-related ads completely, while others brought traffic that didn’t convert into actual participation. It became frustrating because we were spending time and effort but not seeing much engagement during the token sale period.


That’s when I started reading forum discussions where people talked about niche crypto traffic instead of broad advertising. A few users mentioned trying Web3-focused ad networks because the audience already understands blockchain projects, wallets, and token launches.


What I Personally Noticed


I won’t pretend it magically solved everything, but the targeting felt more relevant. The people landing on the project page seemed more interested and spent longer checking things out. We even started seeing more questions in our Telegram group, which was a good sign because before that it felt almost silent.

So in my opinion, a Web3 ad network can help increase token sale participation, but mostly because it puts projects in front of a more relevant crowd. It’s probably not a magic shortcut, though. Good communication and an active community still matter way more than just running ads.
