Linksys RE6500 setup refers to the process of configuring the Linksys RE6500 WiFi range extender so it can connect to your existing wireless router and extend your network coverage.
During setup, the extender is linked to your home WiFi either through a web-based setup page or using the WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) button. Once connected, it repeats your router’s signal to improve coverage in areas with weak or no WiFi, such as far rooms or dead zones.
In simple terms, the setup process is what allows the RE6500 to start boosting your WiFi signal and provide stronger, more stable internet access across a larger area.
