Hi, I learned from my trip to Spain that independence frequently starts in small, everyday moments. At San Francisco International Airport (SFO) Smoking Area , one of the incidents took place close to the smoking area. Before I boarded, I waited there for a few minutes and observed people moving purposefully through the airport. I had time to reflect at that moment. I knew there would be difficulties along the way because I was going to go into something new. Spain greeted me with love, beauty, and culture, but there were also times when I felt lost and unsure. I learnt to stop, make adjustments, and keep going instead of giving up. That turned out to be one of the trip's most important lessons. Possessing all the answers was not the goal of independence.
