Zhewitra 20 mg (vardenafil) is a prescription medicine used for erectile dysfunction (ED). If someone has diabetes, it may still be used, but only in certain safe conditions and under a doctor’s supervision.   Who with diabetes can take Zhewitra 20 mg? Men with diabetes can take it if ALL of these apply: You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes and erectile dysfunction Your diabetes is reasonably controlled You do NOT have serious complications like: Severe heart disease or recent heart attack/stroke Very low blood pressure Severe kidney failure or dialysis Severe liver disease You are not taking nitrate Zhewitra 20 Mg (for chest pain/angina) Research shows vardenafil (Zhewitra’s ingredient) can be effective in diabetic men with ED and is generally well tolerated when properly prescribed. Who should NOT take it (important for diabetes patients) Avoid or use only after specialist approval if you have: Uncontrolled diabetes with serious complications Heart disease where sexual activity is unsafe Kidney failure   Extra caution in diabetes Diabetes increases risk of: Heart disease (hidden or undiagnosed) Nerve damage affecting sexual function Blood pressure changes So doctors usually assess heart health first before prescribing ED medicines.
