I’m thinking about setting up a small arcade corner at home and maybe even for occasional events with friends. I’ve been browsing around online, but there are so many options, and I’m not sure which sellers are trustworthy.
I want machines that are fun, durable, and not complete knock-offs. Ideally, something that’s easy to maintain but still gives that authentic arcade experience.
Has anyone bought arcade machines for personal or small-scale commercial use? Any recommendations on where to get quality ones without breaking the bank?

I’ve gone through the same search a while back, and what I realized is that not all sellers are equal. You really want a place that specializes in arcade machines rather than general electronics or random eBay listings. I ended up getting a few machines from https://arcadedad.com/ and they’ve been awesome. The setup was straightforward, the machines feel solid, and they have a good selection whether you want classic cabinets or newer games. For anyone looking to set up a small arcade at home or just add a few machines for events, I’d definitely recommend checking them out. Makes the whole process way less stressful than hunting for individual parts or sketchy second-hand deals.
