I’ve been seeing these insanely realistic artificial trees everywhere—cafes, coworking spaces, even apartments—and I’m kind of curious.

I get that they don’t need watering or sunlight, which is obviously a plus, but I always assumed artificial plants looked… well, fake. Some of these look so real that you could easily mistake them for the real thing.

Has anyone actually used them in their space? Do they really add to the vibe, or does it feel kind of like a cheap trick once you know they’re fake?

Honestly, once you see the higher-quality ones, it’s a game changer. I helped a friend redo his office and we went with a few ultra-realistic artificial trees. At first I was skeptical, but in the full space, they blend in surprisingly well. They’re especially handy in spots with no natural light or places where real plants would just die. Plus, you don’t have to worry about leaves falling everywhere or constant upkeep. If you want to check out some examples, this site has a good range of options: https://fauxnatural.com/. For me, they’re not a replacement for nature entirely, but they’re perfect for adding that greenery vibe without the hassle.
