I was exploring different raw materials for my fragrance ideas when an unexpected late-night testing session made me realize how many people are curious about oud essential oil and what makes it so valuable. Oud essential oil is extracted from agarwood trees when they produce a natural resin, resulting in a deep, woody, smoky, and slightly sweet aroma that feels rich and intense. Unlike many common essential oils, oud is extremely rare and takes years to form, which is why it’s considered one of the most expensive oils in the world. Its scent is strong, long-lasting, and evolves beautifully on the skin, making it a key ingredient in luxury perfumery. I’m trying to find oud oil that feels smooth, authentic, and powerful instead of harsh or synthetic. Has anyone here experienced a high-quality oud essential oil that truly delivers depth and long-lasting performance?
