Cenforce D combines sildenafil citrate (for erectile dysfunction) and dapoxetine (for premature ejaculation). While generally safe for most men, monitoring certain lab values helps detect potential adverse effects, especially in patients with pre-existing conditions like heart, liver, or kidney disease.
1. Liver Function Tests (LFTs):
Includes ALT, AST, ALP, and bilirubin.
Sildenafil and CENFORCE D are metabolized in the liver, so elevated liver enzymes may indicate hepatic stress.
2. Kidney Function Tests:
Serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) help track renal function. Impaired kidneys can alter drug clearance, increasing side effect risk.
3. Electrolytes & Sodium:
Dapoxetine can rarely cause hyponatremia (low sodium). Monitoring sodium and potassium levels is important in long-term or high-risk use.
4. Cardiovascular Markers:
Blood pressure and heart rate should be monitored, as sildenafil can lower blood pressure, and dapoxetine can affect cardiac rhythm.
5. Complete Blood Count (CBC):
Detects any drug-induced anemia, thrombocytopenia, or other hematologic effects.
6. Optional:
Glucose and lipid profile in patients with diabetes or cardiovascular risk.
Routine baseline testing and periodic follow-ups ensure Cenforce D therapy is safe and allows early detection of complications. Always review results with a healthcare provider before continuing therapy.
