Malegra Oral Jelly is a medication primarily designed to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men, not pulmonary hypertension. It contains Sildenafil as the active ingredient, which is a PDE5 inhibitor. Sildenafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis to help men achieve and maintain an erection when sexually stimulated. Sildenafil and Pulmonary Hypertension:  is a condition in which there is high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs, leading to strain on the heart. Sildenafil works in the lungs by relaxing and Malegra Oral Jelly the blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing the pressure in the lungs. Revatio, which contains the same active ingredient (Sildenafil), is specifically approved for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), a form of pulmonary hypertension. Why Malegra Oral Jelly Isn't Used for Pulmonary Hypertension: Malegra Oral Jelly is formulated for erectile dysfunction, not for pulmonary conditions. While both Malegra Oral Jelly and Revatio contain Sildenafil, the dosages differ, and the formulations are meant for different purposes. Malegra Oral Jelly typically has a higher dose designed for treating ED, while Revatio is usually prescribed at lower doses (such as 20 mg three times a day) for pulmonary hypertension. The dosage for PAH is carefully adjusted to manage the specific blood pressure issues in the lungs, and the dosage used for ED may be too high or inappropriate for pulmonary hypertension treatment.
