So, I went to Kyoto for a couple of days, and suddenly realized my old SIM card was just a gimmick. It was there, but it was useless. I was standing by the bus, trying to figure out the route, and the internet seemed to have died. A guy standing next to me saw my panic and said to me, Listen, man, try a Mobile SIM https://www.mobal.com . Seriously. I went back to the hostel, ordered it, and... that's it. It works. Even in some narrow streets where the houses practically fall on top of each other. I feel like I would have gotten lost there three times over without it.
