I’ve been thinking about hiring a private fitness trainer to really take my workouts to the next level. I know there are plenty out there, but I have no idea how to figure out which ones are legit and which are just good marketers.

For those who have worked with a trainer—what did you look for before hiring them? Certifications? Reviews? Trial sessions?

Also, what’s a reasonable price range? I’ve heard numbers all over the place, and I don’t want to overpay but also don’t want to cheap out and regret it later. Any advice would be huge!
