I picked up a Ryobi 40V Lithium Battery last year for my trimmer and hedge cutter, and while the power has been impressive, I’m starting to notice some drop in runtime. At first, it would easily last through a full yard job, but now it feels like I need to recharge sooner. I’ve always followed storage tips, like keeping it out of extreme heat, so I’m wondering if this is normal wear or a sign of early decline. Has anyone else seen performance dip after just a season or two? I like how lightweight it feels compared to older battery models, but I worry about longevity if I need to keep replacing them. Do you guys think Ryobi’s warranty actually covers noticeable runtime loss? Or do they just swap out batteries if they completely fail? Curious to hear what others are experiencing with long-term use.
