Fildena CT 50 mg, like other medications that contain sildenafil citrate (the active ingredient), may be associated with vision issues as a possible side effect, although it is relatively rare. Sildenafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis, but it can also affect blood flow to other parts of the body, including the eyes. Vision Issues Linked to Sildenafil (Fildena CT 50 mg): Some users may experience visual disturbances, including: Blurred vision: This can occur temporarily after taking the medication. Color vision changes: Some people may notice a blue tint or changes in their ability to distinguish between colors, particularly blue and Fildena CT 50 Mg . Sensitivity to light: Photophobia, or increased sensitivity to light, is another reported side effect. Non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION): Although extremely rare, this serious eye condition involves a sudden loss of vision due to a decrease in blood flow to the optic nerve. These visual side effects are usually temporary and tend to subside as the medication leaves your system. However, if you experience persistent or sudden changes in vision, such as a sudden loss of vision in one or both eyes, you should seek medical attention immediately. Why Does This Happen? The visual side effects are thought to be caused by the way sildenafil affects PDE5 (phosphodiesterase type 5), an enzyme in the body. PDE5 is also involved in the regulation of visual pathways, and by inhibiting it, sildenafil can sometimes interfere with normal visual function. Precautions: Consult a doctor before using Fildena CT 50 mg, especially if you have any eye conditions, such as retinitis pigmentosa (a rare genetic disorder affecting the retina). Avoid using sildenafil if you experience any sudden or unusual visual disturbances after taking it. Notify your healthcare provider so they can help assess your symptoms and determine if this medication is right for you.
