Megalis 20 mg, containing Tadalafil, is a PDE5 inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) by improving blood flow to the penis. It directly affects penile tissue, especially during sexual stimulation.

Mechanism in Penile Tissue:
When a man is sexually aroused, nitric oxide (NO) is released in the erectile tissue of the penis. This activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase, increasing levels of cyclic GMP (cGMP). cGMP relaxes the smooth muscle in the corpora cavernosa (the erectile tissue), allowing blood to flow in and fill the spongy tissue, causing an erection.

MEGALIS 20 MG works by inhibiting the PDE5 enzyme, which normally breaks down cGMP. By blocking PDE5, Tadalafil allows cGMP to remain active longer, leading to prolonged smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow in the penile tissue.

Effects on Penile Tissue:
Enhances the ability to achieve and maintain an erection

Does not cause an erection without sexual stimulation

Improves erectile response over time in many users

Megalis 20 mg positively affects penile tissue by enhancing natural erection processes through improved blood flow and smooth muscle relaxation. It is effective only in the presence of sexual stimulation and should be used under medical supervision.
