The World is not still. Nevertheless it could appear peaceful beneath our legs, it is alive with action — refined, deep, and eternal. The ground adjustments slowly in their sleep, rearranging continents like neglected questions, digging valleys with the calm persistence of centuries. Actually the air above people — filled with wind, climate, and whispering clouds — is in constant action, echoing the planet below.
We frequently overlook that individuals stay on some sort of that remembers.
Beneath our towns and woods rest the remains of other sides — entire civilizations swallowed by time. The soil keeps the bones of animals that roamed before history began, and the stones tell reports in layers of sediment, stress, and ash. Each crack in a canyon, each ripple in a fossilized cover, is a sentence in Earth's language — one we're only beginning to translate.
Volcanoes aren't just fire — they are memory under pressure. Mountains aren't just rock — they are ancient upheaval built solid. Oceans are not only water — they are record in movement, swirling with neglected names.
And in the deepest areas of the world, wherever no sunshine ever falls, life however thrives — blind fish in black caves, bioluminescent animals in abyssal trenches, mosses that develop on the bones of the dead. These are reminders that Planet is not merely a backdrop for the existence — it's a full time income store, pulsing with mystery.
Also the winds remember. They carry the dust of deserts across oceans, depositing pieces of 1 continent onto another. The rain that falls on the skin today could have once grown from a forgotten sea, or transferred on the destroys of cities extended vanished. The Planet doesn't overlook — it recycles, repurposes, retells.
However we, their inhabitants, shift too fast to notice.
We gentle fires without viewing the old kinds buried beneath our feet. We build systems without remembering the roots they stay on. We title the stars, but forget that the floor beneath us can be air — compressed, dropped, reborn. We talk about time as a point, however the Earth addresses in rounds: living, death, decay, renewal.
You can find forests that grow on the bones of other forests. You will find ponds that dream of oceans. You will find cliffs that still echo with the roar of old beasts.
To stand barefoot on the floor is to stay in the current presence of anything far higher than ourselves — a being that has observed snow ages come and move, that's cradled empires and crushed them, that remains to turn in its slow, unstoppable rhythm. The Planet does not require us. But we've never Plant without it.
And therefore, in the event that you hear tightly — when the entire world is calm, when the models sleep — you may hear it: A reduced hum underneath the concrete. A Air in the wind. A storage mixing in the stone.
The Earth recalls itself. The issue is — may we?
