Beneath every step we get, anything old stirs.
The Earth isn't still. Nevertheless it could seem calm beneath our legs, it is living with activity — delicate, heavy, and eternal. The floor shifts slowly in their sleep, rearranging continents like forgotten puzzles, digging valleys with the calm patience of centuries. Also the air above people — filled up with breeze, weather, and whispering clouds — is in continuous action, echoing the entire world below.
We often forget that people stand on a world that remembers.
Beneath our cities and forests sit the stays of other worlds — entire civilizations swallowed by time. The soil keeps the bones of creatures that roamed before history started, and the stones inform stories in levels of sediment, pressure, and ash. Each crack in a Plant, each ripple in a fossilized shell, is a sentence in Earth's language — one we are only starting to translate.
Volcanoes aren't only fireplace — they are storage under pressure. Hills are not just steel — they are historical upheaval created solid. Oceans are not just water — they are record in motion, swirling with forgotten names.
And in the deepest places of the entire world, where number sunshine actually falls, life however thrives — blind fish in dark caves, bioluminescent creatures in abyssal trenches, mosses that grow on the bones of the dead. They're pointers that World is not simply a background for our living — it is an income store, pulsing with mystery.
Even the winds remember. They hold the dust of deserts across oceans, depositing pieces of one continent onto another. The water that falls on your skin layer today could have when increased from the forgotten beach, or passed over the ruins of towns long vanished. The Planet doesn't overlook — it recycles, repurposes, retells.
Yet we, its people, move too quickly to notice.
We light shoots without viewing the previous ones buried beneath our feet. We construct towers without remembering the sources they stand on. We name the stars, but forget that the floor beneath people can also be atmosphere — compressed, fallen, reborn. We talk about time as a range, however the Planet speaks in cycles: life, demise, rot, renewal.
There are woods that grow on the bones of different forests. You will find seas that desire of oceans. You can find cliffs that also reveal with the roar of old beasts.
To stand barefoot on the floor is to stand in the clear presence of anything far higher than ourselves — a being that's observed ice ages come and go, that has cradled empires and crushed them, that continues to show in their gradual, unstoppable rhythm. The Planet does not require us. But we've never endured without it.
And so, if you hear carefully — when the entire world is calm, when the models rest — you may hear it: A reduced hum underneath the concrete. A breath in the wind. A storage stirring in the stone.
The Planet recalls itself. The problem is — will we
