My flight was delayed due to weather, and I expected a frustrating day at the airport. However, the staff at United Airlines YYZ Terminal turned things around with incredible professionalism and empathy. Upon reaching the customer service desk, I was greeted with calm, helpful agents who explained the delay, offered meal vouchers, and quickly rebooked my flight. Despite a long line of frustrated passengers, the team stayed composed and attentive to individual concerns. They provided clear instructions and made sure everyone was informed. This level of service is not something you find everywhere. Beyond that, I noticed gate agents checking in with passengers, making sure families, seniors, and those needing assistance were comfortable. The boarding process, once it resumed, was organized and fair. Terminal announcements were frequent and accurate, and I appreciated the updates that kept passengers in the loop. Even under pressure, the entire team managed to stay friendly and helpful, which left a lasting impression on me. Travel plans don’t always go perfectly, but how an airline and its staff handle unexpected problems says a lot about their quality. In this case, I walked away genuinely impressed and more likely to fly with United again in the future.
