At Istanbul Airport Qatar Airways IST Terminal adheres to a set procedure to guarantee seamless international departures. It is recommended that travelers get to the terminal at least three hours before their scheduled departure time. Boarding gates close 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time, and check-in counters close 60 minutes before that time. Business Class customers have a larger allowance than Economy Class passengers, who are only permitted to check 30 kg of luggage. Carry-on luggage must adhere to weight and size restrictions. At check-in, valid passports, visas, and travel documents are required. Members of the Privilege Club enjoy fast-track security, priority check-in, and special lounge access for extra comfort.
