I’m considering installing artificial turf for play area use in my backyard to create a clean, soft, and safe surface for my kids. Natural grass keeps getting patchy and muddy, especially after rain, so turf seems like a better option. But I’m concerned about things like heat in summer, cushioning for falls, and overall durability with heavy use. Has anyone here used turf for a children’s play space? Is it comfortable, safe, and easy to maintain? I’d love to hear your experiences, what to look for when choosing turf, and whether you think it's a smart long-term solution.
