I recently traveled with Southwest Airlines from Narita and was surprised. The Southwest Airlines NRT Terminal provided a hassle-free check-in and baggage experience, and this set the mood for my whole travel experience. The counter personnel were friendly, particularly when they had to adjust the balance of weight in my luggage. After clearing security, the terminal itself was simple to get around, with plenty of friendly airport personnel and electronic boards to inform passengers. The waiting space was quiet and well-stocked with charging stations and seats. Boarding announcements were timely and bilingual, which was a welcome touch for me. My bags made it to my end destination safely without incident — a consideration that makes a huge difference on long-haul travel. Southwest's coordination with Narita airport services seems highly efficient, and it gave me peace of mind throughout the experience. For travelers who might worry about international flights on a budget airline, this terminal completely erases that concern. I’d gladly recommend it for anyone flying Southwest out of Tokyo.
