Vilitra contains vardenafil, another medication for erectile dysfunction similar to sildenafil (Fildena, Cenforce) and tadalafil (Vidalista), but with its own profile. About drinking alcohol after taking Vilitra (vardenafil): Alcohol and Vilitra: Drinking alcohol in moderation is usually okay, but excessive alcohol can reduce the effectiveness of Vilitra and increase the chance of side effects like dizziness, headache, flushing, or low blood pressure. Timing: It's best to avoid heavy drinking around the time you take Vilitra. If you took Vilitra , waiting at least a few hours before drinking alcohol is a safer approach. General recommendation: If you want to drink alcohol, keep it moderate, and try to separate the timing—take Vilitra first, then if you plan to drink, wait a few hours before having alcohol. Why be careful? Both alcohol and vardenafil can lower your blood pressure. When combined, this effect can be stronger, leading to dizziness, fainting, or other issues. Bottom line: Avoid heavy drinking when you plan to use Vilitra. Moderate alcohol intake a few hours after taking Vilitra is usually safe for most people. Always listen to your body and avoid mixing if you feel unwell.
