E-RYTE-RYT stands for Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, a prestigious certification awarded by Yoga Alliance. Unlike the basic RYT certification, E-RYT requires yoga instructors to have completed specific teaching hours after their initial training. To earn the E-RYT 200 title, teachers must have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and logged at least 1,000 teaching hours over two years. For E-RYT 500, the requirements increase to 500 hours of training and 2,000 teaching hours over four years.
