Kamagra, which contains sildenafil citrate as its active ingredient, affects blood pressure primarily because it works as a vasodilator. Sildenafil inhibits an enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which results in the relaxation of smooth muscle cells in blood vessel walls. Kamagra relaxation causes blood vessels to widen (dilate), improving blood flow, especially to specific areas like the penis, which helps treat erectile dysfunction. However, this vasodilation also lowers systemic vascular resistance, leading to a reduction in blood pressure.
