Eriacta 100 mg, which contains Sildenafil (the same active ingredient as Viagra), is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Several factors can reduce its effectiveness. Here are the most common ones: 1. High Fat Meals Taking Eriacta after consuming a high-fat meal can slow down its absorption. This may delay its effectiveness or reduce its peak effect. Fatty foods like burgers, fried foods, or large meals can impact how quickly the drug works. 2. Alcohol Consumption Drinking too much alcohol can reduce the effectiveness of Eriacta. Alcohol can relax the muscles and blood vessels, but excessive amounts can also impair your ability to achieve or maintain an erection, counteracting the drug's effect. 3. Certain Medications Some medications can interfere with how well Eriacta 100 mg works, including: Nitrates (used for chest pain or heart conditions) can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure when combined with Eriacta. Alpha-blockers (used for high blood pressure or prostate issues) can also increase the risk of low blood pressure when taken with Eriacta. Other medications for ED (like tadalafil or vardenafil) should not be used simultaneously with Eriacta, as this can increase the risk of side effects. 4. Medical Conditions Heart Disease and Low Blood Pressure: If you have heart problems or low blood pressure, Eriacta may be less effective or may not be recommended for you. It can interact with certain cardiovascular conditions and may lower blood pressure too much. Diabetes: Diabetes can cause nerve and blood vessel damage, which may limit the effectiveness of medications like Eriacta. Kidney or Liver Disease: If you have kidney or liver problems, your body might not metabolize Eriacta as efficiently, which could either reduce its effectiveness or increase the risk of side effects.
