For passengers of all types, particularly families, Alaska Airlines BOS Terminal at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) provides a serene, effective, and well-thought-out airport experience. Even with small children or additional luggage in tow, Terminal B, where Alaska operates, is tidy, orderly, and simple to navigate. With self-service kiosks and staff on hand who are quick to help when needed, the check-in area is simple to use. During the pre-security rush, I witnessed a number of families receiving assistance with stroller tags and car seats, and the staff's kind and patient handling of the situation made a significant impact. Once through security—which moved at a steady pace despite moderate crowds—the terminal opened up to a bright, open space with wide walkways, plenty of seating, and a relaxed vibe. It’s not overly busy or loud, which is great when traveling with kids or just looking to unwind before a flight. There are several food options close to the gates, offering everything from snacks to sandwiches and coffee—easy choices that work well for both adults and children. I noticed that the family restrooms were conveniently located and clean, and there was enough room for kids to move around a bit without getting in the way of other travelers. Boarding was well-organized and easy to follow, with announcements clearly communicated and early boarding offered to families and those needing extra time. The staff at the gate were attentive and professional, helping maintain a relaxed atmosphere even as the gate area filled up. Overall, the Logan Terminal Alaska Airlines experience at BOS feels thoughtfully put together—nothing flashy, but comfortable, dependable, and clearly suited for real-world travelers. It’s the kind of airport experience that takes the stress out of flying, especially when you're managing the added logistics of family travel.
